I originally wrote The Venus School for an online website, and readers loved it so much they encouraged me to make it into a book, because they wanted to know what happened after Jessica went home.  I didn't really want to let go of the characters that I'd fallen in love with either, so I was excited to try my hand at self-publishing.  I loved exploring what happens when a fantasy menage relationship goes through once it hits reality and the characters have to deal with their friends and family.  There are a lot of ups, but a lot of downs too.  I also loved being able to introduce Stronghold using my favorite trio; Stronghold was a BDSM club that I'd had in mind to write about for a while and I figured, why not put everybody together?  It's worked out better than I could have hoped, especially because I still get to revisit Chris, Justin and Jessica on a regular basis, and it gave me a great way to introduce Hilary to an awesome man.

This is an excellent book and answers a lot of questions for writers, editors, and proofreaders. The one thing I don't understand is why the author didn't include information about pronouns when she described the parts of speech. There are eight parts of speech and she left out pronouns and interjections. Aside from that, it's a very useful reference.

This is a very useful book. Each chapter focuses on one type of punctuation. The back has a handy index that allows you to look up grammar rules quickly. It also tells you how the rules vary by type of writing: for book editing, new media and business writing, science style, and academic style.

This book has helped me with writing a story. I know you can find most everything online, but tire of always doing the searches and then having to weed out the bad results.

A handy reference: easy to search and consult on a particular question; fun to read out of curiosity or boredom; delightful to know which rule you're willfully violating. Bottom line here is that if you're not trampling somebody's rule for punctuation or spelling, than you're not writing English. This book will show you who's group you're offending at least on the punctuation side of things.

Fantastic book. Very well laid out and the rules are very easy to read and understand. Has every instance of punctuation you could possibly come across. This would be a great book for any high schooler, college student, or teacher for that matter to have in their library to use for reference.

Sean Dowdell changed an entire industry and tells his story in this book. I found it to be an excellent read with some amazing business lessons. I learned a lot from his failures, which most people don't admit to as openly and honestly. However, I find I have learned more from my failures than from my successes. His lessons were well described, winners and losers. He also talked about his relationships with the people in his life, which was touching and sad, as his friend and business partner, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, recently changed his residence to Heaven. I really felt, after reading this book, that Sean is the type of person you would like to have as a friend. He tells it to you like it is and doesn't hold back. Sometimes he seems arrogant, but it's really his confidence in his own abilities, which he has earned. Yet, he's also amazingly humble. He gives credit to other's easily but doesn't have room in his life for slackers or leeches. He loves and adores his wife and kids, plus he's all about giving and making a difference in the lives of others. You can't help but really like the guy. Best of all, Sean gives great advice on how to run your business. I highly recommend the read!

Written with brutal honesty and a personal truth that captivates readers. It was relatable on so many levels as the writer recounts myriad experiences cutting across several industries. You don't need to be a business owner or aspiring entrepenuer to appreciate this book. You can apply the principles to any situation. I grew up in the same generation as Grey Daze -albeit in another part of the country- and that and Chester's recent passing are what drew me in. I finished the book having gotten so much more from it. Getting tattooed at Club Tattoo is now on my bucket list. Sean and Thora (and Chester, may he be now at peace) are exactly the kind of people and business owners I hope to some day spend my hard earned money supporting.

This was a great read. I found it to be very inspirational, especially as I continue working on my first entrepreneurial venture. Sean is brutally honest in every aspect, especially when it comes to describing in detail the mistakes he made and how he and Thora overcame them by continuing to learn and persevere by putting in the work necessary to create the next opportunity for success. I thought that the last chapter and Epilogue summed up everything perfectly....not only his guiding principles for being a successful entrepreneur, but how to live a happy and fulfilling life. Congratulations to Sean, Thora and the entire Club Tattoo team on all of their hard won success.

Love the book - It's a great read for seeing how Sean dealt with so many struggles in the business to get it going. It was great to hear how he overcame all that to build a thriving business. Also learning how he created a unique take on the Tattoo industry to make it more of a friendly environment and how that made him stand out in the industry was great to see that you can prosper from being different. The book was very interesting and made you want to keep reading to see what Sean did to keep improving his business. From starting a band, to recording records, starting a tattoo studio, inventing products and so much more. This is a great book to add to your collection of business and entrepreneurial books to your library.

It was a quick read with interesting details, specifically about the tattoo industry. However in the text there were several typos which made reading it a bit tedious at times.

Tattooed Millionaire is an awesome story! I had the good fortune to (briefly) meet Sean. He's super down to earth and the real deal. You'll LOVE this book!

It is filled with great advice about business.Sean Dowdell started out at a young age, working hard to make a living, when he started a band, which is well known as Grey Daze today and started out as SD & Friends. He continues to tell the story of Grey Daze and later about the history of the world famous Club Tattoo. Just like any business, it has had it's ups and downs. With a lot of dedication, heart & soul, hard work, awesome friendships & friends, and persistence Sean proves what is humanly possible for anyone who wants to make their dreams come true.I read this book in three days. I couldn't put it down. I am a fan of all the above mentioned.
